Science is all around us!  Children are natural observers and enjoy interacting with the natural world everywhere they go.  Encountering something new in nature sparks the child's curiosity and leads to a spontaneous lesson. Dr. Maria Montessori believed that experience with real objects should always proceed before learning the names or looking at pictures. The following topics of study are incorporated in the science programs for Preschool, Kindergarten, and Elementary students at Marlboro Montessori Academy.
